Cars on lulu.rw covers new and used cars from across Rwanda. You can narrow the list by make, from Toyota, Kia, Hyundai, Mercedes-Benz and BYD through to the smaller marques, and then by condition, year of registration, kilometres on the clock, fuel type, transmission, engine size, colour, car type and drive type, as well as by price range and district or town.

Two cars of the same model and year can be priced far apart, so it is worth knowing what moves the figure. Year of registration, mileage and fuel type do most of the work: hybrids, diesels and petrol cars are priced differently, and engine size affects what the car costs you to run. Ask which market the car was built for, since specification and equipment differ between them. On any used car, ask to see the registration document, confirm the person selling is the registered owner, and check that the chassis number on the car matches the paperwork. Ask when it last passed inspection and what service history exists, and have a mechanic you trust look at it before you pay.

If you are buying, narrow the list using the filters, open the listings that fit, and contact the seller directly - a phone number or WhatsApp is on every listing. Nobody sits in between, and browsing is free.

If you are selling, posting takes about two minutes: describe the car, its year, mileage and transmission, add photos, set your price, and leave your contact details. Buyers reach you directly. Posting a listing is free.
