A bus is bought to earn, so look at what it will cost to run as much as what it costs to buy. Confirm the seating capacity and whether the vehicle is licensed to carry passengers commercially, since that is not automatic. Ask for service history and how the engine and gearbox have been maintained, because on a high-mileage passenger vehicle these are the expensive parts. Check the body and floor for rust, look at tyre condition including the spare, and ask when it last passed inspection. Confirm the registration document is in the seller's name and that the chassis number matches it before any money changes hands.
