GOOD PEOPLE INTERNATIONAL (GPI) was established as an INGO in 1999 to combat poverty and disease across the globe and support people in need. Good People International, an international development NGO, holds a special status in UN ECOSOC.

GPI exist to make a joyful world where no one is suffering from poverty, disaster, and disease by means of relief and support for people to be self-reliant.

GPI aims to be the leading humanitarian organization to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals for no poverty, zero hunger, good health and well-being, and quality education.

GPI is carrying out various projects to achieve its goals, such as health and medical, water, sanitation and hygiene, income generation, family-in-crisis support, and Humanitarian Assistance.

GPI Rwanda

In Rwanda, GPI have implementing project called “Agricultural Income Improvement Project through Enhancing the Value chain of Staple Crops (Beans) in the Rugera Sector, Rwanda”.

Key Responsibility:

Implementing project activities and responsible for monitoring, performance management and evaluationCommunication with stakeholders closelySupporting and cooperating with project manager

Salary Range: Negotiable

Job Location: Rugera Sector, Nyabihu District

Employment Period: 6 month

Experience Required: Minimum 5 years of experience in the agricultural sector. preferably in an NGO set up.

Qualifications:

Commitment to Good People International’s mission and valuesBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, or a related fieldProven track record of managing agricultural projectsStrong understanding of modern farming techniques and technologiesA good understanding of the value chain of climbing beansExperience in applying climate-smart farming methods (Preferred conditions)High levels of self-motivation and initiativeExcellent written and verbal communication in English and KinyarwandaProficient computer skills
